Disappointing Day at the Embassy

I am so thankful that my God is never surprised. That makes days like today bearable.

Our interview at the Embassy seemed to go very well, but the end result is that our file is going to be deemed "not clearly approvable" and will be sent to Nairobi for further review. The estimate is that it will take 30-60 days for a final decision to be made.

God is good and He is in control.

    Any indication why your case is not clearly approvable? Sorry for the disappointing day... our Father will take care of you and your family. Praying...

    I am so disappointed with you! What can I do? Do you need to know some place to stay in Kenya? I know people there...

    Ugh. Sorry, I was so hoping for a "we're coming home!" post. Well, it wasn't a denial and that's something to give thanks for. You always keep such a good attitude.
