April 28, 2010--Visa appointment at the US Embassy...application is "not clearly approvable" and will be sent to Nairobi for review
March 31, 2010--New guardianship orders granted...hoping they satisfy the US Embassy
March 29, 2010--Back to court to appeal for rewording of guardianship orders
March 11, 2010--Judge issues her ruling and I'm a mom!
March 3, 2010--Second court hearing...all goes well
March 1, 2010--First court hearing...but no judge!
February 18, 2010--Gotcha Day! Dorie comes to stay with me
February 17, 2010--Meet Dorie for the first time
February 15, 2010--Off to Uganda to meet Little D!!!
January 27, 2010--Sweet Baby Girl turns 5 and my documents are received in Uganda!
January 8, 2010--USCIS Fingerprinting appointment
December 2, 2009--Decide to proceed with the adoption!
November 11, 2009--Saw Sweet Baby Girl's picture for the first time
November 8, 2009--Read a blog post about a little girl not at Sanyu...my heart is stirred
October 1, 2009--"Top of the wait list" for a girl at Sanyu Babies' Home!
June 23, 2009--Application to Amani Baby Cottage officially denied
April 2, 2009--Looking into Sanyu Babies' Home in Kampala
March 10, 2009--Mailed application to Amani Baby Cottage! Let's see what God wants to do!
December, 2008--Met with Angel's Haven Outreach, the agency which will most likely complete my homestudy
October, 2008--Interviewing Home Study Agencies
June-August, 2008--4th trip to Rwanda; met with government officials
February 28, 2008--Decided to research adoption from Rwanda
