Birthday Girl!!!

Dorie's 6th birthday was her really her first....she had never had anyone even acknowledge her birthday before, let alone give her a party with cake, games, and gifts! So, oh my, how we celebrated! This little girl knew exactly what she wanted for her big day! We had her party a few days before her actual birthday. Gotta love weeklong celebrations!
She designed her own cake...just for herself! Everyone else got cupcakes. :)

Of course it had to be a Dora party for my Dorie! All the kids made backpacks...



...and jumped on the trampoline...


...hit the pinata...


...opened presents...how exciting...!!!


I loved that Dorie invited her younger cousins to help her open her gifts!


The first time this little girl had anyone sing "Happy birthday, dear DORIE!" She was so excited, she sang right along.
